Santiago Mill Stewards
The Santiago Mill Stewards are a volunteer group dedicated to preserving & sharing the Santiago Mill with adventurers who journey 12,040 ft. above treeline.
In collaboration with the U.S. Forest Service, the Santiago Mill Stewards is a volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of a historic mill in the Waldorf Basin.
The Santiago Mill represents over 80 years of evolving mining practices and technology. Here, original structures from 1899 and rare 20th-century flotation machinery remain preserved in a way few Rocky Mountain mining sites can match.
My design work for the organization supports public education and volunteer engagement through a nostalgic visual brand that celebrates the Mill’s history.
